Job Title: Sales Manager – Workplace & Fleets EV Charging

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary/package: £40k - £45k (commensurate with experience)

Location: Weev Ltd. Buildings, 8 & 9 Edgewater Office Park, Edgewater Road, Dargan, Belfast, BT3 3JQ

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer

General Purpose

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager for Workplace and Fleets EV Charging to ultimately support enabling more businesses to transition to electric vehicles and support sustainability. Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer the Sales Manager will be based on-site at our Belfast office where you will lead a growing team who are tasked with selling EV products & services into our existing customer base in addition to new company’s.

Key accountabilities

  • Management & Development of the Workplace EV Charging Sales Team
  • Ownership of team sales targets, management of objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Development & Implementation of strategy with particular focus on utilisation of grants & funding streams.
  • Exploring our existing customer base and understanding where expansion opportunities lie.
  • Securing new business relationships, negotiating contracts with potential customers within the market and managing the ongoing relationships.
  • Collaborate with bid team to generate, submit, and wins bids.
  • Provide product suite consultation and negotiate package pricing within agreed parameters.
  • Work closely and build strong relationships with key functions across the business.
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM system and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Contract review & negotiation.
  • Building relationships with multiple points of contacts with potential workplace customers.
  • Networking and presenting information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with the CCO to develop competitive commercial models and educating potential customers on Weev’s offering.
  • Commit to become a subject matter expert for Workplace within Weev, educating and upskilling the wider sales team.
  • Stay up to date with internal and external developments, and suggest new ways to increase sales.
  • Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer on forecasting, growth, and overall performance.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience managing a high performing sales team.
  • Previous experience of leveraging existing relationships to create new revenue streams.
  • A proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in leading negotiations and sales pitches.
  • Excellent written or verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and planning and organising skills.
  • Ability to work in an organisation which is evolving and growing rapidly.
  • Good presentation skills – should have experience of presenting to key stakeholder groups.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, (outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint).

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in a similar role within the renewables or EV industry desirable.
  • Experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or similar
