Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager - Electrical Wholesalers in the North West area. In this position, you would be part of the UK Commercial Sales Team.
Position Summary:
To develop and grow sales in the North West territory working with the electrical distribution channel their electrical contractor customers in their area and surrounding areas to create demand for all products within the Lutron brand.
Responsibilities:Daily Responsibilities
- Expand and manage the electrical distribution channel for Lutron products in the North West area
- Ensure our customers adhere to the stocking program and promote the Lutron brand in a positive manner
- Develop strong relationships with electrical distributors and work together with them and their electrical contractors to increase sales (create customer eco systems)
- Coordinate with other members of the territory sales team to surround jobs and close orders from generated specifications.
- Work with colleagues to prepare and present customer and influencer training, IE CPDs.
- Participate in local trade groups and networking events for influencers
- Keep accurate expense records and submit expense reports in a timely manner
- Provide and maintain the highest level of service to Lutron’s customers to ensure repeat business
- Meet or exceed aggressive growth targets

The successful candidate will be a well organised, motivated and dynamic individual with a minimum of 5 years experience working with electrical distributors in the north west area. Be able to demonstrate repeated success in building relationships with electrical wholesalers and their customers. An individual who is hungry to grow and achieve goals set out by the management team.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills are critical to secure projects so candidates must be prepared to work closely as part of a team.
