Who we are looking for.

If you are the right candidate, you have strategic awareness and experience in a fast moving competitive sales environment. You will be able to lead and develop a team of highly motivated and focused sales execs in order to maximise our reach and meet revenue targets. You will be dynamic in your approach and be able to source, develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with our partners throughout the whole sales cycle.

You will be a great leader and team player who develops strategies in line with other areas of business to ensure the customer experience is enhanced at every point along the sales journey.

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a key role in acquiring new partners and driving revenue growth to contribute to the overall success of Self Space.

You will own and manage the full sales cycle to ensure growth with our prospects.

You’ll have a deep knowledge of therapy and be an advocate for good mental health.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: As the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. Collaborate with the executive team to align sales objectives with the company's overall vision and goals.

Retention Management: Work with our Customer Success Manager and cultivate strong and lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention rates. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Meeting Revenue Targets: Take ownership of achieving and surpassing revenue targets set by the company. Utilise your expertise in sales and your team's skills to close deals and drive business growth. Building a Strong, Organised, and Visual Sales

Pipeline: Develop and maintain a well-structured and visually represented sales pipeline. Use data and analytics to monitor progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimise the sales process for maximum efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve exceptional results. Provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback to enable the team to excel in their roles.

Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments. Use this information to inform sales strategies and identify untapped opportunities.

Collaboration with Marketing: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and initiatives. Share insights and feedback to refine marketing strategies based on customer interactions and needs.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales performance reports and present them to the executive team. Analyse data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential expansion opportunities.

You’ll need:

  • Experience selling B2B services to companies between 100-1000 headcount, owning the end-to-end sales cycle and have the ability to demonstrate successful sales track record across a number of previous roles.
  • Work collaboratively & cross-functionally with Marketing & Customer success in a fast-paced environment, working knowledge and experience of CRM processes ensuring best practices in terms of logging, reporting, automation, and operational insights.
  • Able to clearly communicate a value proposition, design objection handling frameworks, close deals, and ultimately set up successful long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrated results in exceeding sales goals.
  • Knowledge in HR/People/Learning & Development preferred.

Location

The role is one that lends itself to home working however we will require the post holder to attend our locations in London and/or Manchester when required. We will negotiate the exact detail with the preferred candidate.

Probationary period.

The post will be confirmed following successful reviews at months 1, 3 and 6.
