The Jockey Club, one of the UK’s largest sports businesses and operator of 15 racecourses, is looking to recruit a Partnership Sales Manager. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships you will play a key role in generating new sponsorship and commercial partnership revenue for the business.

The Partnership Sales Manager will
¨ Work closely with the Head of Partnership Sales, proactively selling new Partnerships to achieve and exceed sales budgets in line with our strategic goals.
¨ Proactively manage a sales pipeline to ensure strong relationships and dialog with prospect partners.
¨ Manage the Partnership Business development role to help develop their skillset and support with the sales process.
¨ Collaborate with Partnership Account Managers across the Group to identify and target relevant partners and opportunities in a considered and timely manner, in line with the partnership strategy.
¨ Identify new Groupwide partnership rights that are available to sell and achievable to deliver.
¨ Harness new technology, data insights and innovations to target potential partners effectively and generate maximum value.
¨ Ensure effective and efficient handover of sold partnership rights to allow optimum account management.
¨ Where necessary upsell and cross sell Partnership assets for the wider benefit of the Group
¨ Assist with organising and hosting sponsor and partner events.
About you
¨ An understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape and its value
¨ Proven experience in new proactive high value sales with the ability to identify opportunities.
¨ An outstanding relationship builder capable of influencing a wide range of stakeholders
¨ Able to effectively consider the operational requirements in delivery of major events.
¨ Highly motivated and process-driven in the pursuit for results
¨ Experience of managing and supporting team members
