Head of Sales
After the successful launch of our sales team into the American Market. The Green Energy Advice Bureau are now recruiting a Head of Sales to take our American operation to the next level. You will initially work in the UK, managing our existing team remotely with a view to growing a profitable operation and opening an American office to rival the success of our UK Operations.
Reporting to our Managing Director and Sales Director, you will be responsible for shaping the future landscape of our American operation. You will have full autonomy over the operation, leading on income generation and strategy, having the directors as support.
Day to day, you’ll coach and develop your team to deliver a positive, enthusiastic, performance focussed culture which not only achieves but exceeds KPIs/SLAs and delivers exceptional customer and employee engagement. You’ll maintain morale and set the tone of the operation. Provide support through monthly 1-2-1s and daily touch points. Ensure your people, systems and processes are best in class to exceed customer expectations, enhance performance and comply with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Building and implementing effective KPIs and processes.
· Overlay our sales process with our customers’ buying process to understand and enhance the product knowledge and skills; processes and tools required by our sales force to increase conversion rates.
· Motivating your people to achieve and exceed sales, performance and productivity metrics and SLAs.
· Managing performance and mindset through monthly 1-2-1’s coaching sessions each month.
· Managing P.I.Ps and underperformance.
· Business planning.
· Managing the sales pipeline.
· Managing the sales process.
· Negotiating and closing sales when required.
· Assisting marketing and support requirements.
· Supplier relationships to be upheld and enhanced where possible.
· Responsible for own personal self-development along with the leadership team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting/exceeding targets.
- Proven ability in building a robust pipeline of opportunities and deal closing.
- Ability to leverage current/prior customer relationships and contacts to generate a pipeline.
- A resourceful problem-solver who is able to lead and contribute at strategic levels and tactical execution while bridge-building to foster essential partnerships up, down, and across teams, functions, and departments.
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal).
- Evidence of creating clear, inclusive, and transparent views into progress, pivots, and trade-offs with an iterative mindset.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.

Salary: £37,730.79-£101,841.89 per year
