What you’ll get up to
As sales manager at our brand new Botanist, you will support, mentor and develop your sales teams, manage and maintain all incoming reservations in your site, ensuring we provide an exceptional guest journey through upselling pre-booked packages, increasing pre-booked spend, managing enquiries through to conversion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Inbound Sales
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Reservation Systems, being the ‘go to’ person in your site for all things involved in the reservation systems.
- Ensure all enquiries and administrative procedures are effectively managed within your team, to ensure we provide a timely and exceptional guest journey.
- To update, process, generate and distribute weekly and monthly reservation reports vs target and PY for your site.
- Drive pre-booked revenue / package sales in line with the targets.
- Review relevant guest feedback scores and reviews related to the booking journey.
Training & Development
- Ensure your team is fully trained on relevant booking systems, and utilising all functions of the system to maximise covers. (Including new enquiry handling, follow ups, and notification centre maintenance)
- Coach and develop Sales Coordinators & Hosts with regular catch ups, target setting, sales training to ensure all goals are met.
- Support GM in building the Sales team, ensuring aces are in places on key shifts.
Outbound Sales
- Build and develop relationships within local areas to increase brand awareness.
- Generate, negotiate, and secure new business through proactive outbound activity.
• Manage pipeline and utilise current network to promote venues and drive awareness. • Ensure venue events are promoted utilising all physical & digital channels.
- Host & attend networking events incl. trade shows & conferences.
- List venue on appropriate local venue directories and listings to support with driving awareness and bookings.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third party agencies. Events
- To support and assist the Events & Activations team with project work relative to your sites.
- identify opportunities for sales growth within your region, particularly around the delivery of events.
