With the proliferation of Connected Smart TVs, Samsung Ads has developed a new platform to bridge TV and digital together. For the first time, advertisers can use real-time viewing behaviour to reach consumers in new and innovative ways. Samsung’s Advertising Sales Team operates at the intersection of display advertising and connected televisions offering advertising solutions with the goal of helping our advertisers reach their target audiences across our TV platform and beyond. Leveraging our unique first party data this is a new initiative at Samsung with the potential for massive growth and opportunity.
Having won AdAge Best Places to Work Award 2020, we are looking for a person who likes early stage opportunities and would like to join a rapidly growing team to help define the next chapter within a nascent hyper growth advertising business.
Samsung Ads (part of ESBO - European Service Business Organization) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs and Mobile devices. The EU advertising team is working to create value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into content consumption in the shifting media landscape.
- Initiate, structure and negotiate high impact partnerships with client direct content partners.
- Build, prioritise, manage and communicate an active pipeline of brands.
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets as a trusted adviser through data driven approach.
- Leverage communication and relationship-building skills to develop new business.
- Educate new advertisers on the benefits of advanced TV and persuade them to shift their marketing strategies from traditional media to digital/advanced TV.
- Analysis of Proprietary Samsung TV data to create compelling sales insights that drive revenue outcomes.
- Build compelling proposals and strategies for new and existing clients.
- Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities
- Proven experience in full lifecycle sales at a media-owner, technology, or media-agency with experience in TV advertising, digital media, and advertising platforms.
- Strong connections within the international London based agencies at comms, planning and buying and account level. Strong relationships within Publicis and GroupM agencies will be beneficial.
- Experience building a book of business and managing against quotas.
- Understanding of digital media and the online advertising industry.
- Independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient. Thrives in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions to prospective clients.
