Job Name - Sales Administrator
Reports to - Commercial Manager(s)
Department - Commercial
Location - Magnet Road, Gray’s, RM20 4DP
Job Purpose
To assist the sales team with administrative tasks including taking inbound calls, retrieving ETAs, order processing, report preparation and ad-hoc admin duties. You will be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to all customers within the commercial sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of high-quality customer service to all New Era customers
- Be the first point of contact for all incoming calls
- Process inbound orders from calls and emails
- Lead sourcing for Sales team
- To support sales support team in all shared inboxes with ordering process and adhoc admin duties
- Process third party orders – aim to maximise margin by obtaining a competitive price
- Ensure all purchase orders are assigned to third party orders
- Ensure correct purchase order numbers are assigned to customers’ orders
- Ensure up-to-date site contacts and details are entered on every order
- To manage order processing and requirements for our tender customers working alongside the tender team
- To be the first point of contact for enquires, orders and site requirements for Tender customers.
- Uncovering new leads and opportunities to drive sales growth
The successful candidate will have -
- Prior admin or sales experience
- Confident telephone manner
- Drive, determination, and ownership of role
- Strong organisational skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- To work well within a team as well as own initiative
