Your Role
National Customs Sales Manager, is responsible for the strategic development as well as the volume and turnover growth of the assigned product range of Customs Brokerage as a stand alone product. Furthermore the National Customs Sales Manager organises and manages the business development in line with the Customs Roadmap as well as branch and national operational ambitions and aims by consulting and supporting the team members of the KN UK Sales Channels (FAM, Field Sales, Key Account Management) on evaluation of customer potential, cross selling in to existing customers or acquisition of new customers.Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling stand-alone customs brokerage
- Lead, coordinate and support the development of commercial strategies to win large/multi-country and SME opportunities in stand-alone customs business
- Develop, implement and execute sales program and strategy for customs value added services
- Identify new business opportunities and closing them with the account owners of the KN UK Sales Channels (FAM, Field
- Sales, Key Account Management)
- Manage industry and customer contacts
- Work strategically with K+N teams to develop strategic target account plans
- Respond to RFQ or RFI inquiries pertaining to customs brokerage enquiries for transport-related and stand-alone customs business
- Evaluate and review together with the respective account owners opportunities for cross selling to existing K+N customers not currently taking advantage of KN customs service and/, or other customs consulting services

- Ability to present and communicate effectively

- Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- Team working and customer focussed attitude
- Sound financial understanding and commercial awareness
- Strong willingness and ability to travel Nationally with occasional International Travel
- Driving licence mandatory
