Job description
We’re a fully independent wholesaler specialising in Scottish spirits that have grown from holding stock at the foot of a bed to turning over our first year every 4 days. We sell largely to independent stockists nationwide. We’ve established ourselves through open and transparent communication, eradicating red tape, proactive approaches and working together as part of a close knit team.
As we head into our 7th year of growth without a dedicated sales position, we’re now on the lookout for TWO dynamic and motivated individuals with the thirst and drive to play a pivotal role within our progressive spirits company. We are delighted to have our first person on board but now we're looking for the next to fit the bill.

The Role (but not limited to):
- Spotlighting certain products and showcasing a range consisting of ~800 SKU’s,
- Following up and creating leads via the on and off trade nationwide,
- Contributing to and implementing a structured sales plan to drive growth in various sectors within the industry,
- Liaising with sales reps and company buyers,
- Being the port of call for customers/suppliers to ensure satisfaction and rapport is continually strengthened,
- Heading up in-store tastings, trade shows and staff training,
- Remote/office/national working/potentially international,
- Visiting distilleries for brand immersion and customer day trips,
- Generating monthly sales performance data.
The Candidate (not critical to tick all boxes here):
- Passionate about the spirits industry,
- Possess knowledge of the industry,
- Not afraid to use initiative or contribute ideas,
- Outgoing/Friendly,
- Desires freedom from micromanagement,
- Exudes energy to fulfil company growth and progress personally and financially within a growing business,
- Has Industry connections - spirits or hospitality sector,
- Previous sales experience,
- Hungry to learn and adapt to new skills and tasks.
Salary and Perks
We are offering a salary of £32500 based on a flexible 5 day week allowing for the occasional evening or weekend to be covered. The job covers all of the UK and could potentially lead to international trips as we focus on exporting goods.
