Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial Manager will be responsible for:

  • supervising the day to day running of the M&E Sales Department and Reservations Team
  • supporting the hotel operations team where needed
  • Bringing in new business from existing and new clients
  • Working together with relevant departments to develop consistent commercial strategies.
  • Establishing sales targets and ensuring that the hotel meets these

What you will be doing:

  • Optimise meetings and events revenue by converting all potential sales leads
  • Consistently liaise with all existing accounts for repeat business
  • Support the Director of Sales in implementing sales plans and strategies
  • Proactively organise and attend wedding fairs to secure more business by keeping abreast of upcoming wedding and event trends
  • Attend all meetings, research and gain knowledge on the area for new business leads
  • A champion in proactive and reactive sales

What we expect from you in return:

  • Strong leadership experience (+1 year of Leadership experience in a Commercial role)
  • Strong competencies in Planning and Organising, Communication and Influencing
  • Commercial attitude and proactive sales approach
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
