Due to internal promotion, an opportunity to join a successful team at Headlam Flooring Distribution in Newcastle as an Area Sales Manager has arisen.
Headlam Flooring Distribution specialises in the supply of hard flooring, carpets, laminate flooring, floor preparation and ancillary products. Renowned for competitive pricing, great stock holding and an unparalleled service. You will have the backing of Europe’s largest flooring distributor behind you.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for retail and contract sales in the North East of England.
Candidates must reside in and take ownership of this territory, building excellent relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
The ideal candidate will be target driven and have industry relevant sales experience, however this is not essential as full training will be given.
Calling on an established account base of independent retailers and contractors, servicing the domestic and contract market, you will be required to….
- Build & develop relationships with existing accounts and prospect for new business opportunities.
- Present new & existing product ranges.
- Develop new opportunities including contract projects, POS and domestic sales.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.

A full clean driving licence is essential to this position.

Salary: £42,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
