Working Hours:
42.5 hours Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm (1 hour unpaid break) and 17 Saturdays 7.30am to 12.00pm
What you'll be doing:
We are looking for a professional who has the skills and experience to lead a sales team, over a number of sites, in maximising sales and margin opportunities in order to deliver our sales plan.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Branch Managers to review sales activities and set actions to ensure targets are achieved and work with the sales team to develop ideas for enhancing sales and margin.
You'll review the Sales Plan monthly to ensure positive activities are reinforced and unsuccessful ones are identified.
You'll liaise with marketing and purchasing on new sales incentives and create good communication with all departments to develop a positive sales ethos throughout the Company.
You'll take ownership of our CRM system and ensure it is being used effectively by the sales team.
You'll also manage a limited number of key or core accounts and support the finance team with managing the customer stop list.
What you'll need:
Previous experience working in a Builder's Merchants at a managerial level
Proven experience of achieving sales targets and developing strong teams
Knowledge of building materiel's
Excellent IT, organisational and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £55,000.00 per year
