An incredible opportunity for a Sales Specialist has arisen with a leading company. At the forefront of their industry, they are renowned for continuously developing new high technology instruments for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for all chromatography service contracts and contract renewals throughout the UK. You will roughly spend 3 days visiting customers and 2 days at home. The role will also involve:
- Manage existing accounts as well as collaborate with the sales team to establish any new business;
- Provide training and support to customers if required;
- Meeting financial targets, managing budgets, and issuing quotes;
- Market research to maintain competitive, which includes innovative ideas for sales and product development;
- Attend relevant events or conferences;
- Continuous improvement of internal processes;
- Managing your own diary, travel, and arranging events.
The Candidate: Sales Specialist
The successful candidate will be positive and confident in their ability, a self-motivated and driven decision-maker, and will have the following skills and experience:
- 10+ years of sales experience which includes generating new service contracts and contract renewals into Pharmaceuticals, Test Analysis Labs, or similar environment
- Good understanding of chromatography devices such as HPLC, GC and UPLC
- Understanding of GLP and GMP
- UK drivers licence
- Willing to travel throughout the UK for customer visits (roughly 3 days per week)
As this role is remote you can live anywhere as long as you are happy to commute to customer sites and occasionally the office. This could be Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Leicester, Northampton, Cambridge, Oxford, London or Reading.
