Job description
The EuroTech Group Plc, based in Exmouth, Devon, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of hi-tech printed circuit boards (PCBs) and supports many Blue-Chip OEM/CEM Customers across Europe. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our UK Group Sales team.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be accountable for developing the existing client base as well as identifying and developing new clients across a designated geographical area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively visit and hold regular structured meetings with customers in order to develop and monitor sales/pipeline/opportunities – this will include giving presentations to clients
- Submit reports and forecasts as appropriate to management
- Work closely with the internal sales team to ensure the clients are fully serviced.
- Follow up on quotations.
- Keeping the management/manufacturing sites fully informed ref technology, market trends and competitive activity.
Qualifications and Skills
The Area Sales Manager will have credibility, commercial acumen and will have PCB (or associated business) experience with a good understanding of the electronics marketplace.
Furthermore, it is imperative the successful candidate has the following traits;
- Have highly developed organizational skills along with keen self-discipline and tenacity,
- Self-motivated and works well as part of a team, flexibility with working hours as required,
- Keen to learn
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Prepared to travel within the UK and Europe if required
- A natural relationship builder
- A balanced and well-rounded individual who is likeable and a good communicator
- An individual who is interested in a long-term career
- A full driving licence.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
