As part of the sales effectiveness strategy, we are creating a new position of Sales Enablement Manager (SEM) that will play a vital role in equipping CGS Global Sales Team with the strategic resources it needs to excel, from tools to technology to content. The SEM would act as a liaison between the Marketing, Sales, Operations and School teams to create and implement the annual and long-term sales enablement plan. The individual in this role will be creating and implementing a systematic approach for onboarding, product and sales training, and analytics to enhance the Sales Team productivity.
Location: UK (other locations globally could be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Overview of the Role
The postholder will play a vital role in equipping CGS Global Sales Team with the strategic resources it needs to excel, from tools to technology to content. This role would act as a liaison between the Marketing, Sales, Operations and School teams to create and implement the annual and long-term sales enablement plan. The individual in this role will be creating and implementing a systematic approach for onboarding, product and sales training, and analytics to enhance the Sales Team productivity.
- Work with key stakeholders in Schools, Sales, Marketing and Operations to create a robust Sales Enablement Plan
- Develop sales enablement materials on group and brand/school level and lead the rollout to the Sales Team, proactively identifying additional expert resources who can address content gaps
- Lead the development and management of SalesHub, liaise with the departments across the group to ensure the hub is up-to-date and delivers the required content for the Sales Team
- Ensure that the training and onboarding framework meets the needs and takes into account various levels of experience, product knowledge and sales skills of the Sales Team
- Implement enablement and training solutions, including online learning, instructor-led training, virtual training, job aids, instructional videos, audio/video scripts and role play exercises
- Regularly spend time with the Sales Team to understand challenges and build sales enablement deliverables to meet their needs
- Develop knowledge assessments and certification exams and programs to measure learning and application
- Measure and assess the effectiveness of current enablement and training solutions to inform future program requirements and identify areas where additional learning and reinforcement are required
Person specification.
- Experience in scoping, planning, designing, developing and implementing effective sales enablement and training solutions
- Experience in working with sales teams
- Knowledge of LMS solutions and environments
- Good administrative skills
