Carlisle Fuels looking to appoint experienced Sales Administrator to work in their Ballynahinch Head office.

Position: Sales Administrator

Location: Ballynahinch

Position: Permanent

Hours: Monday –Friday (hours can be flexible)

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Responsible for taking orders on daily basis, processing orders and dealing with all customer queries
  • Responsible for managing and maintain existing customer base and generating new business
  • Responsible for all pricing and track all competitors pricing
  • Responsible for all administration and support and liaising with Fuel drivers on deliveries and operation of the in-house system, Dreamtec
  • Ensure all stock is allocated and all correct and in order at month end
  • To answer phone efficiently and in professional manner
  • To provide customer with necessary information on pricing / product
  • Proactive calls to potential customers and meeting proactive targets where necessary
  • Oversee all payment from customers where necessary and liaising with credit control department in relation to customer balances, payment terms etc.
  • Advise standing order customers on credit and payment terms and assist customers with their savings plan via company website.
  • Liaise with Management on any complaints/issues where necessary
  • To assist in meeting personal targets/sales within Sales team
  • Ensure all month end reports are completed and finalised
  • Oversee fuel stock invoices
  • Assist our Senior Administrator with taxing / PSV of vehicles
  • Liaise at month end with Finance Manager on all ensuring close off completed smoothly
  • Ensure prompt payments of customers on ordering and follow up on debtors where necessary
  • Liaise with Finance and staff on ensuring debtors are followed up and paid
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities as directed

General

  • To adhere to policies and procedures of the business
  • Undertake any training relevant to the position
  • Take responsibility for his/her own professional development and liaise regularly with Fuel Manager to ensure professional and efficient role at all times
  • To undertake the necessary Health and Safety responsibilities and duties as required
  • Work additional hours as required by needs of the business
  • Attend sales meeting and co-operate with Fuel Manager
  • To follow and maintain systems as outlined by Management

  • Well organised and able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy
  • Sales experience in a target driven environment
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Good administration skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
