Who will you be working with?
As a Technical Sales Manager within our South West region, you’ll sit directly within our Commercial sales force, as part of a wider field sales team.
Our Commercial Technical Sales Team works very closely with our internal product and design teams to provide end to end support for our customers with Public Health and Building Services requirements. Their role is to meticulously understand the heating and hot water needs of our existing and intended customer base, alongwith the products that Baxi has to enable them to meet the specification requirements of their property, ensuring they are compliant with current and pending legislative and regulatory requirements.
You’ll service a regional portfolio of customers and help drive growth of the sales territory by generating demand and awareness for traditional heating solutions and renewable energy technologies via our well known Heatrae Sadia and Andrews Water Heater product ranges
We’ll look to you to help us realise our net zero business goals by building effective and trusted relationships with M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Installers and Merchants by demonstrating your technical expertise and product knowledge with specification and solution selling.
What will you be doing?
- Delivering the territory budget; helping to build the project pipeline by consistently creating awareness of products and systems solutions with specifiers to support new business generation in addition to managing current relationships and retaining existing business
- Educating and supporting your customers though the delivery of CPD’s, attending events, providing technical reports, test certifications, information and pricing guides
- Identifying additional added value opportunities across our Remeha and Potterton product portfolio
- Building a strong and effective cross functional internal network to enable collaboration and facilitate the success of your role
- Managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously
- Spreading the awareness and driving the conversation around the huge opportunity for energy transformation that exists within our customers
About you:
- Be driven by and in support of the use of data to drive commercial decisions. This requires a best practice approach to data entry and the use of the CRM to track and monitor performance, as well as shape customer communications
- Have existing experience in the Sales Environment, with a proven track record of establishing, developing an area and contact base
- Have an awareness or working understanding of the commercial heating market, and particularly how to influence the commercial decisions of our customers
- Be very comfortable with project life cycles and the associated contractual infrastructure to enable you to be able to successfully influence the sales process
- Be motivated to identify and network with key decision makers throughout a project lifecycle
