SDL Biomass offers a unique and comprehensive service in the production and supply of renewable energy across the UK. The material created from our forestry, arboricultural and site clearance operations is used in our biomass facility, which not only puts energy back into the grid, but also generates the heat and energy needed to produce BSL, Woodsure, ENplus®A1 accredited fuel wood made from local sawmill by-products. Distributed with our in-house HGV fleet, these wood pellets fuel houses, and businesses across the country.

Key responsibilities include:
- Customer service- Handling incoming enquiries from customers by telephone and email.
- Processing orders, liaising with production and dispatch.
- Resolving order discrepancies, ensuring the customer is dealt with positively.
- Purchasing/Stock Administration.
- Preparing documents and files.
- Providing key administrative support to the Management Team as instructed by the Operations Manager.
- Providing key support and assistance to the Operations Manager.
- General office administration duties, maintaining effective filing systems, answering incoming calls
- Representing the company at industry related events where required.
- Comply with all health & safety policies and procedures and wear appropriate PPE when required.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Previous experience in administrative roles is essential.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Confidence to take on new responsibilities
- Confident, clear telephone manner.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a good attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- A team player and helpful attitude.
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel, and Google packages
The successful candidate will be based in the Chipping Campden Office.
