Job description

We are now looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to support the business through a period of organic growth and future acquisitions.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 5.00pm - No weekends or Bank holidays!

Salary range (depending on experience): £22,000 - £26,000 per annum.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Review and process monthly/annual pitch fee, ATS

· Review and process monthly/quarterly utility invoices

· Review and reconcile deferred income

· Review aged debtors to ensure accuracy and completeness

· Send customer statements

· Oversee customer accounts inbox ensuring customer queries are resolved within a timely manner

· Complete credit control administration duties

· Process and allocate payments from customers

· Assist with annual pitch fee review process

· Assist with utility pricing reviews

· Maintain third party credit facility systems

· Recognise holiday booking income

· Review and process ad-hoc invoices when required

· Escalate pitch fee disputes to relevant departments

· Provide administrative support with the Finance team if required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· MS Office skills (Excel in particular)

· Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships

· Currently studying AAT (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential

· Previous Sales Ledger experience is desirable but not essential

· Previous experience of accounting for multiple entities is desirable but not essential

· Prior use of Microsoft Business Central or Microsoft NAV is desirable but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
