Reporting to the Director of Sales, our Sales Executive will be responsible for introducing clients and arranging show rounds at the property, selling all the facilities of both hotels and ensuring high levels of customer service. You will be responsible for proactive sales, networking events and live or virtual appointments as well as the delivery of new direct and pipeline business in line with hotels business needs and budgeted sales.
We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, 40 hours a week between Monday to Friday and are paying up to £26,000.00 per annum plus great benefits. This role requires some flexibility and you may need to work some evenings or weekends, any additional hours are paid for.
We are looking for someone who…
- Has a track record of sales achievements with at least 1 years’ experience in the service and hospitality industry is essential for this role.
- Has strong strategic planning skills, ability to look ahead and strategies in place to support the plans.
- Maintains a degree of knowledge of all market segments in Edinburgh, Scotland and UK i.e. corporate, conference
- Works well under pressure, with minimal supervision and maintain high standards and attention to detail.
- Experience working with Microsoft package and Delphi knowledge (desirable)
- Demonstrates relevant functional experience and good knowledge of relevant topics and collaboration with other hotel departments
- Has experience in coaching and supporting team members to develop
