Our client, based in Cannock, are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their expanding sales team, specialising in the B2B sale of IT equipment and furniture, predominantly in to the education market.
Basic salary of £25k plus 10% commission on sales made (uncapped).
The successful Sales Executive will be required to:-
- Sell IT equipment or furniture to bsinesses, both within the commercial and education sectors.
- Make outbound calls to potential business customers, describing the features and benefits of the products offered.
- Nurture and grow existing client base both via telephone and email sales.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Follow up on leads provided for both new and existing customers.
- Contact customers over the phone to spot business opportunities.
- Close deals over the phone.
- Increase spend of key customer accounts.
- Exceed set sales targets.
- Convert quotations in to sales.
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:-
- Experience working in a sales role either in a telesales and/or account management position would be preferred, however individuals with an enthusiastic nature looking to progress their career will be considered.
- Experience within the IT or furniture industry would be advantageous but not essential.
- A strong, stable CV with the ability to show commitment to previous positions.
- The desire to join a Company who is looking to develop staff on a long term basis.
- Ambition and desire to succeed and earn lots of money!
- A determined and persistent nature.
- A proven track record achieving targets and working to KPIs.
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Resilient attitude.
- A desire to be in a phone based role.
- A sociable and enthusiastic personality.
- Good level of education, with a minimum of Grade C in Maths and English.
- Driving licence or within easy commute of Cannock area.
Benefits of the Sales Executive position to include:-
- A starting salary of £25,000 plus uncapped commission. May consider a higher basic salary if you are able to demonstrate previous sales experience in the IT or furniture industry.
- Transparent commission structure- 10% of sales made.
- Realistic first year OTE £40k+, year two £45k+, year three £50k+.
