Role
NLive Radio is a local radio station for Northampton, as part of its growth and sustainability it needs to develop the commercial opportunities and relationships with local businesses and organisations.
The sales executive will be an ambassador for the station, developing and promoting the commercial opportunities and developing new relationships across the area.
Duties and responsibilities
-Developing the commercial offers of NLive Radio
-Developing links and relationships with local businesses and organisations
-Selling the commercial offers to local businesses and organisations
-Support the administration around the sales process from advert commissioning to invoicing
-Manage client accounts for campaigns before, during and after
Skills and experience
-Educated to college level or higher
-Business sales experience
-Ability to adapt to organisational change
-Ability to adapt to technological advances in the workplace
-Persuasion and negotiation skills
-Confidence
- Experience in a sales based role
-Self-motivated and able to act without supervision
-Face-to-face and telephone communication skills
-Results and targets driven
-Able to form excellent relationships internally and externally
-Industry Certification or Memberships (IPA, CIM etc)
-Experienced in advertising sales, ideally in radio sales
-Understanding and experience of client/account management
-Understanding of the law, ethics and industry regulations as they affect
radio sales

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: £10.99-£12.32 per hour
