Job description
What you will do:
Take ownership of the development sales arena (Sales Information Centre, Showhomes and associated public areas) conducting monthly sales excellence audits to ensure all areas are always maintained and presented to the highest standard.
Manage all customer enquiries (website, telephone, email, or walk-in) effectively and efficiently capturing details and requirement accurately in Microsoft Dynamics and convert to site visit or appointment.
Qualify customers, establishing moving position and timescales, needs and financial situation. Develop credible solutions securing reservations with maximising revenue and margin.
Promote and provide for the use of company recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to ensure an efficient service for customers to achieve purchasing deadlines.
Secures customer reservations ensuring sales targets are met, works closely with Taylor Wimpey Legal teams and sales admin to ensure sales progress to completion efficiently and in a timely manner.
Maximises sales of Optional upgrades supporting customers throughout the selection process, processing orders, taking payment, and ensuring all Options are installed prior to completion.
Acts as the key point of contact for the customer, providing a high level of customer service maximising customer recommendation scores.
Ensure all administrative and reporting requirements are met according to company policies and agreed time frames.
Regularly reviews competitors availability, pricing, specification, and marketing activity making sure that Taylor Wimpey remains competitive ensuring sales performance and targets are met.
Undertake new home inspections ensuring any issues are flagged with site management and resolved prior to move in, introduces the customer to their new home, ensure familiarisation, and ‘after care’ of those customers at defined intervals following their move-in date.
Ensure the health & safety of customers, colleagues, and other parties whilst on site in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
Follow and adhere to company procedures, standards of performance, and the business unit Sales Manual.

Computer literacy is essential
A full driving licence and the ownership of a car is essential
Sales experience in the housing industry isn’t essential but would be advantageous.
Availability to work regular weekends and bank holidays.

To be successful in this role you must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full UK drivers licence.

Working Hours:
The team regularly undertake site visits, so there will be travel involved with the role. The successful candidate will also be required to work on weekends and bank holidays.
