Overview of the role


We are seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our Membership Sales team at our offices in Covent Garden. Your role will be central to Business Green’s and Professional Pensions' growth plans, forming an integral part of the team to sell membership packages.


Professional Pensions is synonymous with high-quality content across several product areas – including pensions law and regulation, defined contribution, defined benefit and investment – and has attracted a loyal following of pension and institutional investment professionals in the industry.

Through its award-winning website – businessgreen.com – and expanding programme of events, BusinessGreen helps ambitious sustainability executives, green entrepreneurs, and policymakers access the up-to-date information, strategic analysis, and inspiring thought leadership they need to pioneer the next phase of global sustainable development and innovation.


Key tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Sales experience and a track of hitting targets
  • Retain, nurture and develop active and new relationships with existing customers and their key decision-makers.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly membership KPIs’ as defined by the business
  • Drive and manage the sales process from initial prospects to closed and onboarded clients
  • Effectively manage and accurately forecast sales opportunities, using critical metrics that predict sales success.
  • Track all relevant sales activity utilising Salesforce.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
  • Cross-selling & upselling to maximise opportunities
  • Establish, develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Report market feedback to help continually improve the product
