So, where do i fit in?
We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Sales Executive to join the Good Energy Works sales team. In the role you'll be offering Air Source Heat Pump installations in domestic homes to customers who have been introduced as warm leads through a variety of sources. You'll play a key role in helping the team achieve stretching sales targets through relationship-led, consultative selling using a proven methodology. Our sales journey is detailed, requiring technical understanding and involves considerably more than just transactional discussion with customers. The average time from enquiry to sale can be up to 2 months, so perseverance, patience and exceptional objection handling is key.
You'll build strong relationships with your customers and won’t be afraid to ask questions to ensure you know their situation and can help them in agreeing the best solution for them. You’ll provide exceptional customer service as well as top-class industry knowledge providing an excellent first and ongoing impression to our customers. The role will require contact with customers through a variety of methods, including calls, video calls (Zoom / Teams) as well as email.
Responsibilities:
Work towards and achieve objectives based on conversion of leads, sales and revenue.
Schedule virtual and onsite surverys to determine the best solution for customers.
Arranging payments as required.
Presenting system designs to customers, effectively answering questions related to the proposal and handling objections.
Support smooth handover from sales to Operations team for customers.
Manage customers effectively through systems and CRM to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
Manage personal pipeline, building in- depth knowledge of customers.
Support team members through sharing of knowledge and providing training support when required.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

We're looking for an experienced Sales Executive, who thrives when working within a target-driven environment and is able to build and develop trusting relationships with customers. You'll have exceptional organisational skills, as well as experience of managing and scheduling appointments.

Essentials:
Experience of selling high value solutions directly to end users, with the confidence to ask the necessary questions, handle objections, demonstrate credibility and agree sales.
Drive and determination to work independently with the self-motivation to ensure standards and required call volumes are met on a daily basis.
Ability to embrace change and adapt to a fast-moving business environment, without losing focus.
Good team ethic with a willingness to support others and achieve collective goals.
Flexibility within working hours to support the needs of our customers.
Desirables:
Knowledge and experience of working within the renewable heating industry, particularly Air Source Heat Pump retrofit installations in domestic properties.
Experience of working in a consultative sales role or account-management role.
Knowledge of a range of CRM systems, in addition to other widely-used business software such as Microsoft applications.
Experience of following a process to manage solution-based sales.

Commission structure with the potential OTE of £40,000 - £45,000

Where are we?
Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire - just a two-minute walk from the train station, with fast connections to Bath, Bristol, Swindon and the surrounding areas. This is a fully remote role and you can based anywhere in the United Kingdom.
