TECHNICAL SALES AND ESTIMATING ENGINEER | £30-35k p/a | Fleetwood
Our client is a family-owned precision engineering business within the automotive industry which has been established for 40 years. They are currently recruiting for a Techincal Sales & Estimating Engineer due to recent expansion.
Rate of pay:
£30- 35,000 p/a Dependent on skills and aptitude
Hours of work:
Full time (Mon- Friday)
Monday - Thursday 8am – 4:30pm (38 hours)
Fri: 8.00am - 2pm

Duties & Responisbilities:
- Preparing and submitting quotations in line with customer requirements, completing efficiently to enable the company to maintain and build strong relationships with both existing and new customers alike.
- Completing short term, and creating medium to long term strategic goals.
- Provide quotations to customer enquiries working to drawings and technical information provided, ensuring all materials and specifications are adhered to.
- Gathering information, prices and evaluating leadtimes.
- Priorotise/manage enquiries efficiently and in a timely manner, help to manage accounts/customers
- Ideas on developing and refining the quotation and estimating process would be welcomed.
- To demonstrate and understand the focus of the business requirements, inculding the quoting and developing of new parts.
Essential requirements:
- Experience of Manufacturing and Estimating
- at least 5 years experience of Mechanical Engineering Practices (ie, CNC / Manual machining)
- Familiarity with PC and Microsoft programmes
- Knowledge/experience with CAD CAM will be greatly advantageous.
