Job description

I am actively looking for an enthusiastic and confident Sales Engineer to join us and be part of a winning team. We are looking for excellent communication skills and a driven / determined, self-motivated individual, ideally with a minimum of 5 years experience in a sales role.

My client is located in Derbyshire and is one of the UK's largest specialists in inverter drive systems. For over two decades, we have been dedicated to offering innovative and energy-efficient solutions that not only enhance system performance but also significantly reduce wear and tear.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers
  • Building and maintaining a steady growth of new customers
  • Quoting products, service and solutions to customers as and when required
  • Working to achieve the yearly budget as set by the business
  • Be a point of contact for customer issues
  • Ensure repeat customer business by managing and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Negotiating with customers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer
  • Attend regular sales and marketing meetings
  • Work with customers to produce case studies
  • Liaison with the General Manager on a continuous basis
  • Self-motivation and determined to succeed
  • A passion for compelling customer solutions, especially energy reducing projects
  • Identifying and developing marketing opportunities
  • Ensure that deadlines and objectives, set by the Sales Director, are met
  • A strong and continuous focus on new business development
  • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships
  • Forward planning for business need
  • Use of CRM to plan sales strategies, maintain a healthy opportunities log to allow business planning

Benefits

Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year, depending on experience, Up to 20% target related Bonus, Company Car, Pension
