Job description
You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for STX Next with the purpose of scheduling introduction meetings. This is achieved through active outreach (email, Linkedin, prospecting calls) and ABM activities. We are looking for a goal-oriented team player who is keen to propose and implement new approaches and tools as well as to improve processes. This position lays the foundation for a successful sales career. There is a path for career growth within STX Next for the right candidate that is willing to learn and work towards that goal.
Requirements
What you'll do:
- Prospect and develop ways and proper cadences to reach out to prospects, like prospecting calls, email and LinkedIn communications, etc.
- Nurture prospects until an opportunity/buying window materializes.
- Support planning and execution of ABM campaigns.
- Create and deliver engaging pieces of communication to identified prospects.
- Follow up and follow through on the prospecting process.
- Consistently meet goals for scheduling introduction meetings.
One to three months
- Learn how to present STX Next services and unique value proposition.
- Complete a comprehensive onboarding, consisting of training sessions, and prescribed readings.
- Adopt the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, process automation, outreach activities and project management, etc.
- Build relationships throughout the organization, including Sales, Marketing/Growth, Operations, and Product & Technology Consulting teams.
- Capitalize on any opportunity to learn about the software development industry and the industries of our clients.
- Conduct omnichannel outreach, including ABM activities.
- Start scheduling introduction meetings with prospects.
- Consistently meet both team and individual goals.
Three to twelve months
- Participate in process planning and brainstorming sessions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both the STX Next product/services and the buyer persona’s specific needs.
- Introduce your own ideas for outreach and ABM activities, build your own omnichannel sequences then test and analyze their performance. Introduce changes and improvements.
- Work closely with other Sales Development Representatives (SDR), Growth Operation Specialists (GOS) and Marketing team to come up with new ways of approaching prospects to initiate the contact. Join the efforts of reshaping outreach activities with the main focus on the quality of communication.
Twelve to eighteen months
- Work with the SDR team lead to recruit and onboard new team members.
- (If there's such a preference) conduct discovery calls with prospects on your own.
