Our client is looking for ambitious and target-driven sales development representative to join a market leading innovation partner in the alternative investments industry.
The successful candidates will join a growing team with proven examples of progression and opportunities to further your sales career. This is a business development role that will require prospecting new business.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives through the 3 channels of cold calling, emails, and social outreach
- Uncover customer needs beyond what may have been initially obvious to the prospect
- Prospect into accounts, searching for key points of contact
- Partnering with Account Executives to prioritise which accounts to target
- Manage your own book of accounts and set the strategy for effective book management
- Strive for daily, weekly, and monthly demo goals, while providing an excellent experience for prospective clients
- Enablement sessions where you will acquire new skills and knowledge
- Comfortable in a challenging team environment to provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Report into the Sales Development Team Lead with first hand access to the Head of Sales as you support the growth of the sales function
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Drive and determination - Sales isn’t easy. You'll be driven to build a successful career and be a top performer in software sales
- An interest in financial markets or maybe even hedge funds, private equity and venture capital is ideal but in-depth knowledge is not essential
- Naturally highly curious - ask thorough and pointed questions, guide potential clients through needs analysis and drive new opportunities
- Terrific prioritisation skills - we generate a lot of leads for the team to work with every month, and this team knows how to identify and qualify them
- You want to win and you find motivation in temporary setbacks
- Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations.
- You’re extremely coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback
