Role Description
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will work as part of our global Commercial team to grow our client base. The successful candidate will have helped gow a sector or client base type for the development of new business in a national or international business. They must have demonstrable experience in developing new business leads and/or meetings for a service or SaaS led business. To succeed in this role you must have the ability to understand our product and services mix and relay this offering to our prospective clients for our BDM’s to close the sale.
Using our CRM, the internet, Linkedin and other mediums, the SDR will manage the engagement of leads, who the business can target for sales of our products and services. For each lead, the candidate will have strategically assessed the opportunity and set up a number of steps that need to be taken to approach the prospective client. The role will require the SDR to build engagement with their monthly list of contacts/organisations and utilise our freemium suite of tools and resources to convert the lead into a scheduled meeting, to pass management of the lead to a BDM. As the business grows the role has the opportunity to develop into territory or geographic business development management accountability.
Responsibilities
- Driving timely engagement with marketing qualified leads (MQLs) generated from marketing activity and events functions, from multi channel campaign activity.
- Carrying out detailed research of each lead provided to you, understanding the client type, persona and their market pain points & challenges.
- Gaining an in-depth understanding of the upcoming months, news, resources and product focus to ensure you act as an expert representative of 9ine in your engagements calls/emails.
- Managing the enrollment of MQL’s into predetermined sales sequences within a timely manner to ensure traction can be built over the month’s agreed activities.
- Weekly engagement calls with each lead, associating your conversation with the appropriate script, sequence enrollment and current trends. Appropriately utilising 9ine’s resources to develop the relationship and convert into an SQL.
- Holding consultative engagement calls with MQL contacts, ensuring open ended questioning techniques, developing your understanding of their challenges/problems, decision making abilities and how best 9ine can support them across our service verticals.
- Managing your pipeline of MQL leads on a daily/weekly/monthly basis ensuring you meet your targets/KPIs.
- Accurately reporting, ensuring your forecasting and pipeline is to the highest standard within the CRM.
- Ownership of the Governance of your role, establishing ,implementing, and monitoring the professional processes surrounding your remit.
- Daily professional development, ensuring you understand the content, impacts and trends that matter to your market, and delivering these within your conversations.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an equivalent field.
- 2+ years minimum experience in B2B Business Development.
- Knowledge of performance metrics and reporting.
- Strong time management, organisation and analytical skills.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

Additional Benefits :
- Up to £35,000.00 per annum depending on experience and commission schemes with an OTE of 40% of salary.
