A multi-faceted venue in the heart of the city centre, boasting award-winning restaurants and wedding & banqueting suits along with guest bedrooms.
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for fantastic individuals to look after our guests.
As a wedding and conference sales coordinator, you will need to have good communication skills as you will be liaising directly with customers, listening to their needs, and giving them ideas & solutions to their requirements. In addition, you will be arranging meetings, showing around potential clients, and conducting menu tastings. You will also liaise with the conference & banqueting team to give instructions and information on the events. On certain occasions, you may also be required to contact suppliers and contractors.
As well as having a good communication skill you must be extremely organised, you will be dealing with a various number of events, conferences & weddings all at the same time you will need to remain focused and ensure that you provide the right information to the appropriate person so that the event goes without a hitch.
Good computer skills are also required, so you can create schedules, plan, budget, prepare contracts and also upload events onto the booking system.
Being able to keep calm is a key attribute, it can happen that things don't go as planned.
