Senior Sales Coordinator

Ever wondered how those in the building trade know exactly the materials and quantity needed for a given project? Experience of Plumbing and Heating would be great, but we will provide full training.

Our in-house estimating team works alongside our Nationwide network of branches to deliver accurate, detailed estimates of materials for our customers projects.

Location: - Northampton

What you’ll do

Manage incoming product / quotation enquiries for appropriate sector projects; liaising with commercial, sales and management teams to ensure project enquiries meet customer requirements; commercially viable and serviceable ,delivered on time, reviewed with customers and status feedback obtained on won/lost,
Working closely with the commercial category team on ranging/supplier strategy including feedback from customers and the sales teams. Ensure pricing feedback and market place shifts are discussed with stakeholder teams.
Develop commencement strategy with all stakeholders for won quotations / projects ensuring lead times and commercial strategies required are in place.
Support the Estimating team Administrator with day to day workflow when required to maintain a consistent process for the department, branches and customers.

Is this you?

We’re not asking for you to have worked in a similar role previously but your ability to retain information, transfer information and have sound mathematical skills will be key to ensuring success for both our customers’ projects and our own business strategy.

Along with the above, you’ll also have:

Strong communication skills, with ability to form relationships with supplier individuals.
Capable of proposing new ideas/processes to work as efficiently as possible.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment
Great organisational skills
Great attention to detail

As part of our team, we’ll support you in developing your career which could involve further education relative to the team and services, progression within the department or other divisions of the business.
