Job description

We’re looking for a Bid Coordinator to join the Construction business in the Midlands region.


Location: Solihull, Birmingham

Contract: Permanent, full time


Kier Construction Midlands are looking to recruit a Bid Coordinator to support the bid teams. You will be working on Education, Commercial, Leisure and Healthcare projects valued from £5m - £60m.


Responsibilities


  • Working with the wider bid and submissions team, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and compiling prequalification questionnaires from receipt to submission whilst effectively tailoring each submission to make it bespoke to each clients’ individual requirements.
  • Providing relevant and high-quality submissions content whilst ensuring accuracy and efficiency, you will also ensure the best collective data is available and present information in engaging and innovative ways.
  • It will be imperative that you support, engage and develop the wider team whilst driving positive change and continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

  • Being proficient with Adobe InDesign, Acrobat and Microsoft software will play a key role in your success in this role, as well as having the ability to produce well-presented and structured information materials.
  • As there are tight deadlines, working efficiently, fluidly and flexibly is necessary as well as having effective communication and influencing skills. Whilst having experience is required, being educated to degree level or equivalent is also desirable.
