An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join a rapidly growing supplier of Danish windows and doors into the UK market.

The role is to predominantly take leads from initial enquiry to close. This will involve communicating with the customer over the telephone and email, using our in house software to produce quotations and managing the negotiation process.

You will join a small team, based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, reporting to the Sales Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to have a positive impact on this growing business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • The candidate must be able to take complete responsibility in the management of existing and new accounts thereafter through all stages of the project by being a dedicated point of contact, owning the customer relationship, through having a comprehensive knowledge of the customers’ account and needs
  • Strategize for further expansion and growth in the business by identifying and approaching commercial and domestic customers to generate new business.
  • Identifying and planning appropriate marketing campaigns for each customer sector and driving throughout the business structure
  • Establish relationships for the business through prospecting, cold calling and online networking.
  • Handling in-bound queries, selling our products and services over the phone and in person and converting prospects into active accounts.
  • Oversee and process sales and management of all account administration.
  • Producing an accurate ongoing sales forecast - winning new business volume, revenue, and margin in line with agreed targets.
  • Proactively promote the full product range (cross promotion) to all customers across sectors, as appropriate
  • Ensure our customer Records System is fully up to date with customer contact information and sales task tracking

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant sales experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Hold the ambition to work within a team to build a growing company
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and efficiently manage numerous projects at varying stages simultaneously
  • Offer commitment to company’s aims and values
  • Strong and proactive work ethic
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues effectively
  • Ability to manage and deal with conflict

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
