Sales Consultant
Job Description
About you:
Outstanding, passionate, people oriented, high performing team player with a great work ethic and above all a desire to learn and to succeed at whatever today's challenge might be.
About us:
Our group is an agile and dynamic educational and tutoring business, staffed by highly educated, easy-going, and fun people. Our focus is premium-quality academic tuition services for students applying to Oxford and Cambridge. We have been going for 10 years now and have shown strong year growth year after year.
As part of our strategy to help more students more often, we now need some first-class individuals to help us grow. You will be responsible for closing an unending supply of leads that are fed to you by our rockstar marketing team. It is expected that this role may develop into a senior role over time within the company, and appropriate training and development will be provided throughout that time to enable you to reach this.
About you:
You are ambitious, and motivated graduate who is personable and determined to meet your own sales targets at all costs. You’ll have a practical, hands-on and flexible approach, and you’ll be a great team player and happy to throw yourself into a fast-paced and pressured environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive mark on a rapidly growing company, with great scope for progression up the company ranks. You’ll be given almost complete freedom on your work schedule although all our consultants consistently work some evenings & weekends to achieve their targets. You will get comprehensive sales training and be able to work from home to reduce travel time + expenses.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will answer inbound phone enquiries, we don’t do any cold calling whatsoever, follow them up to convert them into paying clients. You can expect to be:
- Providing application advice from a sound knowledge of the most common admissions tests and interview types, and matching customer needs with the programmes we offer.
- Following up with your leads to ensure you hit your Sales Quota – a good amount of this will take place in the evenings and weekends – this is a flexible role (and not a 9-5!), we often start work at 11 or 12!
- Communicating with the Programme Manager to ensure all won deals experience our world-renowned customer care.
- Weekly Sales Coaching and Formal Training.
- Contributing and implementing ideas to improve processes and systems within the sales team.
The Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- Graduated in any discipline from a UK University.
- A go-getter attitude and desire to smash your sales quota.
- Motivated by numbers and driven by targets; you will need to work hard in order to hit and exceed your weekly targets.
Why us?
- The chance to progress and build a career in a company doubling in size every year for the last 4 years.
- A rapidly-growing company with an international presence, innovative outlook and a strong market position.
- An inspiring and positive environment, working alongside talented, friendly and passionate people.
- Celebrate your success – free lunches (in partnership with Deliveroo!) after successful weeks for the whole company.
- We love Education! Daily Dedicated protected study time, an office library, paid study leave and formal training.
- Fully Remote Working – Pretty much! We meet up 1 day/month, usually in Oxford for work and lunch! 1-2 weeks training will also be in person.
- At least quarterly team socials! Theme parks/restaurants/sky diving! Voted on and decided by you!
- Annual Company Paid holidays – Full funded trips to go Skiing in the French Alps if we hit target!
