What We Will Offer You:

The Team is counting on you as a Sales Associate Cashier to:

• Have open/flexible availability - early mornings, afternoons, late evenings (weekdays and weekends) and holidays
• Work a part-time schedule

Key Accountabilities:

• Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store or approach the cash wrap
• Responsible for managing the cash register and make sure that all Processes and Procedures regarding the handling of cash and debit/credit cards is according to Company Policies
• Provide a complete shopping experience for our customer involving product knowledge and service excellence
• Communicate pricing, out of date and inventory issues with management
• Assist in inventory processes and counts. Stock merchandise
• Inform management of any out of stock situations
• Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays
• Understand all store Loss Prevention Procedures designed to minimize internal and external shrink.
• Report shoplifting incidents or internal theft situations to store management
• Participates and contributes in daily briefings, staff meetings.
• Follows all communication and managers direction
• Work with other employees to receive all shipments in a timely manner.
• Helps train new associates.
• Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management.
• Perform related work as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to interact with diverse personalities
• 2 or more years of customer service/ cashier experience in a retail environment
• Proficiency in operating a cash register
• Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience in dealing with difficult customers
• Excellent verbal and communication and relational skills
• Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings or late evenings as required by business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
