Job description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To maximise all sales opportunities whilst maintaining the CHANEL standards in all areas. To create strong client relationships and brand loyalty by ensuring excellent client service, product knowledge and care, personal presentation and teamwork at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal Presentation / Image
  • Arrive in good time each day, ready to commence work ten minutes before your shift is due to start
  • Adhere at all times to dress code, grooming and conduct guidelines as specified within the ERES Charter
  • Ensure that the Boutique, including stock areas, is kept clean and tidy at all times and that products sold are replaced neatly and promptly
Customer Experience / Customer Relationship
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships by promptly greeting and welcoming clients as well as offering refreshments where appropriate and by always escorting clients to the door and thanking them for their visit
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to all queries, including telephone queries, and ensure clients are always kept informed as appropriate
  • Arrange for appropriate fittings and alterations of garments as necessary
  • Ensure clients are introduced to the client database and maintain the system by regularly updating and accurately inputting client details
  • Offer relevant after sales care, including the appropriate information regarding events, new collections etc.
Selling
  • Acquire and apply high standards of product knowledge and selling skills to maximise all sales opportunities
  • Create a luxurious experience for all clients by asking relevant questions to correctly establish needs and preferences before presenting products as detailed within the ERES Charter
  • Offer clients relevant advice regarding current collections, garment care etc., as well as guiding and assisting the client in making their decision as appropriate
  • Ensure that all purchases are processed and completed correctly
  • Maintain an awareness of Company, Boutique and personal sales targets and performance, working towards all commercial objectives and goals set
Team Spirit
  • Communicate and liaise appropriately and effectively with colleagues and management within own and other Boutiques, as well as with CHANEL Head Office as required
  • Work effectively and efficiently within the team, sharing ideas and contributing to a positive morale as well as ensuring good time management and sufficient Boutique cover at all times
  • Apply a helpful and courteous manner towards all colleagues, remaining reliable, supportive and flexible as the business demands
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality of the Company’s commercial activities and internal affairs at all times
Boutique Operations
  • Timely and accurate completion of any necessary administration, adhering to set procedures and policies as appropriate
  • Assist with regular stock level checks, and review alterations and holds as appropriate
  • Assist with the preparation as well as attending regular events including special events, promotions, stock taking etc.
  • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety as well as Security procedures and guidelines at all times
Merchandising / Image / Product
  • Establish and maintain sufficient knowledge of current merchandising guidelines as well as the ability to maintain set standards at all times
  • Maintain relevant displays and ensure correct replacement of sold products
  • Ensure all goods are security tagged, ticketed, handled and stored with due care
  • Check the quality of products at the point of sale, ensuring that each product has the correct ticket and that products are boxed and/or wrapped following the appropriate guidelines
Training / Personal Development
  • Successfully participate in and complete any training provided, acquiring and applying high standards of selling skills and product knowledge
  • Actively and positively participate in any meetings arranged
