Sales Assistant – WHSmith – Canterbury

Working hours: 12 hours working any shift any day

As a Sales Assistant you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers and our colleagues to be proud they’re sharing their journeys with us.

Vacancy is a 12 hour role working flexibly on ANY hours on ANY days.

The Store opening hours are:

08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday
08:30 to 18:00 Saturday's
10:00 to 16:00 Sunday's

Therefore you will need to be available to work up to 1 hour either end of those hours
There will be opportunities for additional hours during peak trading periods, to cover absence/holidays and at the annual Store Audit.

Your primary store will be Canterbury, however, you will be required to work in the following Stores at the needs of the business: Canterbury Post Office, Deal, Dover, Hempstead Valley, Maidstone, Maidstone Post Office, Margate, Margate Post Office, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne, Westwood Cross (Broadstairs) with your travel costs and time being paid.
You will be working independently on occasion with the appropriate Health & Safety safeguards.
