About us
Inscapes is an established sports ground engineering organisation, commercial, environmental, landscaping, drainage and irrigation specialist.
We are looking for a sales administrator to ensure smooth day-to-day operations with service to Inscapes on sales, logistics and general customer/client care.
The nature of this role is a ‘hub’ of activity within a busy environment, we strive to provide good working practices and motivation. A large part of the job will involve selling turf and other horticultural products via telephone.
Responsibilities:
- Answering telephone & dealing with customers
- Proactively selling turf products on the telephone
- Organising transport for turf deliveries and liaising with drivers and sales dept.
- Being the main point of contact for any queries
- Managing turf stocks and communicating with team
- Greeting customers, suppliers, or clients in a friendly manner on reception
- Keeping accurate records of transport requirements
- Prioritizing workloads
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of how to up sell and provide first class customer service
- Transport/logistics experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good communicator and team player
- A high level of attention to detail and pro-active approach
- Flexible
- To be able to multi-task and co-ordinate well with a friendly and approachable manner.
