About Us
Benson’s Sweet Shop in Nottingham are looking for a person to join our team. Our aim is to be a fun destination where everyone (not just children!) will find sweets they love now or from years gone by. Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth?!
We are a specialist confectionary retailer selling Sweet Gifts, Traditional Sweets in Jars, Pick ‘n’ Mix, Handmade Fudge, Chocolate Liqueurs, Premium Liquorice, Free From, Chocolate, Truffles, Lollipops, Candy Canes, Jelly Beans, American Candy and Soda.
About You
The Sales Assistant is a key part of the Benson’s Team. You’ll need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for confectionary which will lead to fantastic customer service. You will go out of your way to help and delight customers, so they always leave with a smile. It is a fast-paced environment so we require people who are willing to work hard with a can-do attitude.
You are able to:
· Provide excellent customer service, both before, during and after the sale, with a smile and a positive attitude
· Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Have a genuine love of confectionary and a passion for new sweets
· Have a desire to learn about the whole product range and the retail industry
· Have a drive to meet and exceed company targets
· Be able to work well in a team
· Hardworking with attention to detail
· To listen and take direction
· To continually improve your performance
· To share your ideas
Your Background
· Retail/Hospitality Experience is preferred
