About Us
Benson’s Sweet Shop are opening their second store in Leeds and we are looking for people to join our team. Our aim is to be a fun destination where everyone will find sweets they love now or from years gone by.
We are a specialist confectionary retailer selling Sweet Jars & Hampers, Weigh Out Sweets in Jars, Pick ‘n’ Mix, Handmade Fudge, Premium Liquorice, Vegan & Sugar Free Sweets, Chocolate, Truffles, Lollipops, Jelly Beans, American Candy and Soda.
About You
The Sales Assistant is a key part of the Benson’s Team. You’ll need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for confectionary which will lead to fantastic customer service. You will go out of your way to help and delight customers, so they always leave with a smile.
You are able to:
· Have a genuine love of confectionary and a passion for new sweets
· Provide excellent customer service, both before, during and after the sale, with a smile and a positive attitude
· Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Have a desire to learn about the whole product range and the retail industry
· Have a drive to meet and exceed company targets
· Be able to work well in a team
· Hardworking with attention to detail
· To listen and take direction
· To continually improve your performance and progress within the company
Your Background
· Have experience of working in a fast-paced Retail or Hospitality environment
· Be able to work 2-3 shifts per week
· Be fully flexible to work any day of the week for holiday/sickness cover

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £6.50-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
