Since opening its first Irish store in Henry Street in 2010, Skechers has flourished with a current total of 23 stores across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as additional stores continually being added to the establishment. We are currently on the lookout for a fully flexible Sales Assistant for our Abbey Centre Store. We ask that all candidates be available to start immediately.
Job description
The following outlines tasks and responsibilities you will be expected to oversee:
§ Achieving and surpassing retail productivity metrics, such as total sales targets, units per transaction (UPT), and total products sold
- Serve as company shoe ambassador and meet departmental goals
- Reflect company’s brand image and standards by adhering to standards and training guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to members of the public at all times
- Sell other company products in addition to shoes, such as accessories and apparel, whenever the opportunity presents itself
- Have excellent product knowledge
- Collaborate with the back of house team and management to determine the size and style needs of customers
- Observe selling ceremony and share the knowledge, in addition to product knowledge with the sales team for them to be able to give customers an amazing experience
- Strive to develop customer loyalty by actively engaging them
- Ensure the selling floor is continually replenished and ready for customers all through the day
- Ensure shoes are well displayed to enhance sales and deliveries
- Ensure to always have an active presence on the sales floor, especially during peak trading hours
- Ensure that merchandise is quickly replenished
- Apply visual techniques in ensuring store maintains the required company visual standards
- Ensure shoe stock is efficiently organised to support the department by partnering with the back of house team
§ Ability to perform and cover all work floor activities, including reaching aloft, bending, squatting, kneeling, and carrying goods
