We will depend on your natural persona and special skills to assist in delivering excellent service to our guests by initiating warm contact, interactions built on sincerity and enthusiasm. You network, attend events, entertain, seek revenue opportunities for our bars restaurants by booking groups and events and you assist the Marketing team in the implementation off campaigns to build awareness and drive visitation of our food beverage outlets. You have a cheeky way of focusing on guest service and exceeding our guest's expectations. You are the VIP host and manage our VIP program. You know you've done your job when people leave the hotel with a story worth telling.

The Nitty-Gritty:

What exactly you will be doing...

NETWORKING

  • Develop a social event calendar and attend gatherings and events around town which would provide optimal networking opportunities.
  • Develop relationship with local businesses, PA networks, concierge, tourism networks and build local partners to ensure build a client base.
  • Offer personalised tours of the hotel and coordinate larger hotel/ brand tours with the Director of Sales.

MARKETING

  • Work with the Director of Food and Beverage, outlet General Managers and the Director of Marketing to build promotions, incentives and networking events with VIP database in support of the business needs and quarterly FB Marketing Plans.
  • Work with the Marketing Director to create content to be included on the social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook, to promote the hotel.
  • Maintain and manage guest profiles and preferences in the CRM system to increase revenues and promote repeat customer business.
  • Manage VIP Amenity Program alongside the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef.

STRATEGY

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing, outlet General Managers and other relevant stakeholders in the creation of strategy that drives the annual business plan for the Bars Restaurants.

GUEST INTERACTION

  • You will be required to greet, interact, and bid farewell to guests in a warm, genuine and enthusiastic fashion.
  • Reaches out to VIP guests in advance of their reservation to determine if any special services are required.
  • Use excellent communication skills with guests and teammates including verbal, written and body language.

RESERVATIONS/EVENTS/FB SALES:

  • Manage group bookings, event inquires and leads large parties. Ensures all required details are added into the CRM.
  • Coordinate with Director of Food and Beverage, outlet General Managers and the Executive Chef regarding logistics, group details and final confirmation.
  • Sell, sell, sell. This isn’t just sitting still waiting for the guests to come to you. Get out there and find them!

Background must-have:

  • We’re looking for someone who’s used to being center stage, can find common ground with just about everyone and loves making people happy.
  • You will have a proved background in sales and marketing for hospitality.
  • Current right to work in the UK
