- Sales and Marketing Manager Role
Reports to – General Manager
We are looking for a passionate and driven person to join our company in our high volume businesses as Sales and Marketing Manager at Lola Lo in Cambridge
About the Venue:
Lola Lo is a Southern Pacific paradise Tiki bar in Cambridge. Key role purpose;
- Maximise and grow the pre-booked sales of the venue, by delivering sales action plans designed to meet the pre-booked sales targets and support the achievement of the total sales targets of the venue.
To manage all aspects of promotional activity and marketing communication internally and externally and analyse performance.
The Role
- Maximise sales revenue and profit to exceed the venue’s targets. Predominately driving the Saturday night prebooked.
- Produce sales action plans designed to meet the pre-booked sales targets and support the achievement of the total sales targets of the venue.
- Create promotional calendar which drives sales and footfall e.g. Student activity, Freshers launch, Valentine, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year etc.
- Ensure deadlines are met as per briefing from central marketing on the implementation of key date activity.
- Build your own and the venues portfolio on LinkedIn to drive awareness of the venues, event content and drive engagement with the audience.
- Responsible for ensuring all digital channels are up to date with 3 months’ worth of events.
- Ensure all guest facing communication is engaging, accurate and professional, this includes all digital channels, Collins templates, and replies.
- Proactively engage with local business to build & maintain relationships.
- Attend client meetings, show rounds and relevant networking events.
- Source private/corporate parties using various outreach methods and generate sales leads into confirmed bookings through cold calling and visiting companies within a reasonable distance
Bookings
- Manage the reactive and proactive sales process
- Manage and drive table, private hire bookings and event ticket sales through effective networking,
- Produce bespoke event proposals in line with the client’s budgets and requirements
- Maximise sales from each booking and drive repeat business by offering the best service possible e.g. courtesy calls to all bookings after the event
- Be the first point of contact for sales enquiries internal or external: client bookings, &viewings
- Responsible for all booking deposits and advance payments regarding private bookings and table reservations, and third-party bookings - liaising with accounts regarding invoicing
Event Management
- Oversee and organise events that will make an impact to a target audience, that drive sales, and are cost effective
- Liaise with clients to find out their exact requirements to produce detailed proposals for events including timeline, legal obligations, and budget
- Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
Social Media Strategy
- Create a social media strategy for channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok adapting content to suit different channels
- Capturing events and live happenings in the moment
- ·Creating engaging multi-media content such as videos to share across social media
Reports
· Create weekly reports detailing actual and forecasted sales against target
Manage and monitor all replies to reviews via Reputation.com
· Create a strategy to drive more positive reviews
What kind of person will you be?
- Experience in a previous Sales role in a Hospitality Venue ( 2 -3 years min)
- · A great self-starter with a positive attitude.
- · Excellent eye for detail and the ability to focus on the minutia.
- · Passion for- and working knowledge of- the hospitality industry.
- · Team player and communicator.
- · Multiple Christmas delivery and late night experience desirable.
- Design my night/ Collins experience ( 2 years)
- Good presence/ Interest in Linkedin and other social media channels to drive Bookings.
Mon- Fri Role ( occasional eve's/ Sat for big bookings/ Christmas etc 10am-6pm.
Hybrid working possible after probation.
Based in Cambridge/ (Evenings may be required for Large Bookings / Christmas etc.)
£33,000-£37,000 Depending on Experience plus bonus ( 20% of Salary Bonus Potential)
