Part-time Sales and Marketing Assistant opportunity! – Remote working, flexible hours, working for a growing training provider in Chatham. £13,378 for 22.5 hours per week + great benefits, professional development and career prospects.
MKC Training, is nationally acknowledged for designing and delivering world class, innovative and wide ranging learning solutions for the defence construction, engineering, and civilian sectors. They are based at the Royal School of Military Engineering.
Sales & Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Maintaining social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) creating content, responding to messages and growing social presence
- Designing and scheduling email marketing campaigns
- Help with the design and curation of promotional materials (flyers, social graphics, pdfs etc.)
- Conduct market research, competitor research when required, developing and delivering presentations, prospecting at events and exhibitions
- Updating and maintaining the website, continually developing new content and blogs to increase visitor numbers with a strong focus on SEO
- Compiling and distributing information from datapoints such as Google Analytics, social media analytics etc. to support the marketing manager
- Contributing ideas and working closely with the sales and marketing team to produce effective marketing campaigns
- Maintaining the CRM (HubSpot) by frequently cleansing data, removing unengaged contacts and creating workflows to recapture warm contacts for sales team
- Liaising with customers, cold and warm calling, influencing sales and developing customer relationships. Liaising with external agencies and suppliers
- Assist the marketing manager with maintaining multi-channel marketing campaigns across chosen target markets for both B2B and B2C customers
- Responsible for public relations, writing press releases, organising and executing events, working to gain backlinks etc.
- Maintain Google Ad campaigns and ensuring a healthy account with keywords, negative keywords list etc.
Sales & Marketing Assistant person requirements:
Essential
- Relevant digital marketing qualification, or working towards one (Level 2 or more would be desirable)
- Experience running social media channels
- Knowledge of CRM systems and data entry/maintaining
- Knowledge in designing email marketing campaigns
- Experience in a marketing department
Desirable
- Ability to use design tools i.e. Canva or Venngage to make marketing materials (Photoshop and InDesign desirable but not essential)
- Some experience in cold and warm calling, and prospecting at events and exhibitions
- Knowledge of SEO and PPC advertising (desirable but not essential)
- Some experience in influencing sales
- Some Experience in developing and delivering presentations
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience with writing copy, press releases, and content for a business
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Highly articulate with an excellent standard of oral and written English
- Experience in organising public relations events and exhibitions for a business
This role pays £13,378 for 22.5 hours per week, plus great benefits to include 30 days holiday (+ bank holidays), contributory pension scheme, private healthcare and ongoing professional development.
