Sales and Marketing Administrator
Salary: From £23,000 pro rata per annum negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part time – 21 hours / 3 days
Days: Tuesday & Thursday (third day is flexible)
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (Bristol preferred)

About the role:
Working with the sales and marketing team within OpenAthens, you will be responsible for responding to and nurturing sales enquiries, processing leads, quotes and orders, and processing marketing administration including finance. You will also be responsible for accurate data processing so being enthusiastic about making the most of data and improving processes will be key.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to a compelling customer experience which fuels the dynamism of our sales and marketing team and continually improves processes to make us better and increases the response time with which we talk to customers and partners.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a customer facing role who is focussed on delivering service excellence for all our customers.
This is part time role of 21 hours per week (3 days) and due to nature of the role and the job share responsibilities you will be required to work Tuesdays and Thursdays, however your third day can be flexible.
We offer hybrid working and although the majority of our staff work from home, getting face to face is something we value and find time for when we can. If you prefer an office environment all our hubs are open and offer a great space to work.

Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the contact inbox and sales enquiry line
- Being the first point of contact in the OpenAthens experience and setting the tone for excellent customer experience
- Administering and updating records in the CRM and being the leading example of good and accurate CRM processing
- Managing, recording and improving all OpenAthens sales and marketing admin processes
- Working proactively with a job-share partner to provide a seamless administrative function
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience of using CRM systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and with confidence, verbally and in writing
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
- Focussed on delivering service excellence for all customers
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
