Job description

About us

Wessex Vans is a lifestyle business that sells and converts VW vans, based in Poole Dorset.

It's hard to believe that we have now been selling and converting vans for over a decade! Over this time we have amassed a real knowledge of the industry and grown as a business from working on our driveways to two large production units with a wood room, large store, a mechanical lift to accommodate vans up to Crafter size and seven bays to cater for multiple vans at once. We also have a showroom with donor vans, demo campers and plenty of vans for sale.

Over this time, the passion hasn’t waivered and our team has grown in size and experience. We are fortunate to say they all have the same passion and care that we have, allowing quality to be maintained even with production increase.

We now have an excellent working relationship with many manufacturers, so when we carry out a VW Van Conversion we will use seating, windows, flooring and roofs of the highest quality from Industry Leading manufacturers such as Reimo, Waeco, Fiamma, Webasto and Superva. We are also very proud to be recommended by our local VW dealer Breeze for whom we carry out regular works.

Our customers, many of whom have become friends and are on their second or third van, include young families, surfers, mountain bikers, kite-surfers and retired couples. We have listened to their needs and developed many of our conversions around their requests. We are passionate about making sure our customers leave us with the vehicle of their dreams rather than compromising, as we appreciate how much of a commitment and lifestyle choice it is.

Wessex Vans is a fun and vibrant place to work where every member is an important and integral part of the team.

We are expanding our sales team and looking to employ a professional sales advisor.
