Cyber Security Pre-Sales Consultant

Your role
We are looking for a Cyber Security Presales Consultant to lead customers on analysis of Cyber Security requirements and the creation of industry leading solutions..
This role is characterised by the need for technical and operational delivery knowledge within the fast moving IT market.
The Pre-Sales Architect will scope and solution complex and blended deals which cover the entire end to end solution from consultancy, through architecture and design, technology selection, deployment and transition into ongoing managed services. To achieve this. the individual will engage directly with customers up to and including the C-suite throughout.
Outline of Role
· Provide the security & continuity responses to presales requests and security projects/programmes
· Provide guidance (information security risk severity assessments / relative cost benefit analysis etc) and provide recommendations regarding prioritization of system security infrastructure investments that mitigate customer’s risks, strengthen defences and reduce vulnerabilities
· Advise the sales team on risk issues that are related to information security and recommend actions in support of the risk management programmes
· Monitor information security trends and evolving technologies; keep the Security Offerings Manager informed about customer views and perceptions, related information security issues and implications for our solutions.
· Provide guidance to clients as necessary to investigate security requirements with aim of converting those requirements in to opportunities. Collaborate with customers and act as a business advisor on information sec
Your experience
· Considerable experience of a comparable pre-sales role
· Expertise in bid response (managed service outsource deals, defining service elements, building cost models, providing content)
· Commercially minded - an intelligent, articulate, consensus building, and persuasive team player who can serve as an effective member of a dynamic pursuit team
· Experience with business system risk management as it relates to information security
· An understanding of CESG documents and compliance standards
· ISO27001 knowledge and skills would be useful
