OVERVIEW:

In this role, you will support the sales process by conducting research and helping uncover new prospects, support and help drive communication and organization within the team, assist with investor-related trips and meetings and get involved with many other areas of the team and company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the Sales Process
- Maintain and update Capstone's client relationship management system (Backstop) with all connectivity and email correspondences
- Liaise between Capital Introductions teams to organize landscape calls and conferences
- Use available tools to engage in research, investor trends and investment mandates to uncover new prospects
- Work with Sales team on prospecting new clients
- Assist with client meeting prep, notes, and follow ups
- Help organize investor trips with Sales and PMs
- Coordinate with Investor Relations on legal documents such as IEQs and NDAs
- Lead weekly team calls and collate agendas and events calendars
- Track client engagement and readership, putting together reports for the team and Senior Leadership
Training
- Become proficient in Capstone's strategies by reviewing fund materials, including master pitches and presentations
- Knowledge-based training, for example CFA
- Skills-based training, for example in presentation and negotiation skills
- Regulatory qualifications, for example Series 3
- Be mentored by a Senior Sales/Client Solutions individual professional
Strategy
- Assist in ad-hoc Client Solutions-specific projects
- Contribute to Sales Technology initiatives to help provide investors with an innovative experience and build efficiencies internally
DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree, with interest or experience in a marketing, finance, investor relations, sales or a related field.
- Strong Computer / Excel / PowerPoint skills.
- Motivated and proactive. Able to work independently within a team.
- Extremely organized and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize among many time-sensitive demands.
